Jennifer + Karl’s patriotic wedding only felt appropriate to share on this Independence Day weekend. A color palette of red, white, and blue was evidenced in each little detail of this Spring fete. The bride, Jennifer is part of the National Guard and her groom part of the military. Both have such pride in their beloved country that they found nothing more appropriate than to share their adoration with their guests. See below for some of the highlights from their very special day.
Red shoes are an unexpected, fun POP OF COLOR!
For a further pop of red, Jennifer rocked a fierce red lip.
While the flowers were kept all white to lend a timeless, classic look, interest was created with each bridesmaid carrying one specific type of flower versus bouquets chock full of a variety of flowers.
Check out our dapper groom in his dress blues!
And our stunning bride on the grand staircase.
Jennifer + Karl chose to share in a first look just outside their historic venue.
We adore that their wedding party chose to sneak peek a look too from the upper balcony.
The bride also chose to do a first look with her Father.
Look at the sheer joy on his face!
The ceremony took place under a large original colonies stars and stripes flag.
The bride + groom partook in an unity salt ceremony. They combined two different types of salt into one container. Once the grains of salt combine there is no physical way to undo that action much like the act of marriage.
THE KISS!
Guests then headed inside the historic mansion for the reception.
There they watched the new Mr. + Mrs. as they danced their first dance.
LOVE this sweet moment between a daughter and her father.
Even some red, white, + blue fun was had with the desserts + cake.
The evening was capped off with the bride + groom exiting through a spectacular display of sparklers and mini American flags!
We hope that you all enjoyed sharing in this wedding as much as we did and that it put you in just the perfect amount of July Fourth spirit!!
We thank all of the incredible vendors who made this day just perfect!
