Design | Fresh + Vibrant Garden Party Wedding Design
Fresh, vibrant, and enchanting are just a few ways we'd describe this one-of-a-kind garden tea party wedding at The Ford Field & River Club for Olivia and Sean.
When we first met Olivia about her wedding design, she came to us with a vision of a retro London Tea Party. After hearing more about Olivia's vision, we were excited to assemble a design with lots of timeless patterns and colors.
During the planning process, we wanted to ensure each space was designed with the beautiful venue in mind. The goal was to accentuate the estate with a cohesive design rather than distract from it. With the setting of the Ogeechee River in the background, we played with colors that complemented the outdoor space and let the view be the focal point.
The stationery included a garden aesthetic that flowed seamlessly from the invitations to the table numbers. Hand-drawn details like Olivia and Sean's puppy and Savannah's wildlife were incorporated into this bespoke design.
The ceremony took place on the main lawn of the estate and was designed with wood chairs and a wooden a-frame altar adorned with florals. The ceremony bursted with pastel-colored blooms, and felt like you were nestled amongst a lush garden. Following the ceremony, the aisle meadow arrangements were repurposed inside the tent at the stage, giving them a whole new life at the reception.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception around the pool. Green linens and patterns were used in this space to complement the surrounding Southern foliage.
Olivia and Sean's garden tea party reception was created with a clear top tent draped with vine-like greenery and turf flooring. Guests were greeted at the tent's entrance by billowing baskets of blooms and lush spring trees that brought the outside in.
The guest's tables were created with beautiful layers of patterns and texture to bring Olivia's vision of an elegant garden tea party to life. We absolutely adored the blue and white patterned linens and leaf-patterned napkins, which paired perfectly with their custom stationery. The design featured two styles of guest tables, one long and one square. The long tables we adorned with meadow-style arrangements running down the center of the tables, and square tables featured a lush, round arrangement full of blooms. Each arrangement was a refreshing burst of pastel spring florals.
We always love when our clients come to us with a unique wedding vision and entrust us to bring their design to life. Working with Olivia and Sean on their garden tea party wedding was such a delight. Olivia's vision came to fruition beautifully with bold colors and patterns that complimented the picturesque Low country venue. This intentional and fun design was one we will remember!
