Real Wedding | A Radiant Garden Party Wedding
Imagine entering a world of inviting radiance, where nature and nostalgia converge. That's exactly what our bride and groom had envisioned for their special day at The Ford Field & River Club. With a design reminiscent of a 70's garden party wedding, every detail was carefully curated to bring forth a fresh, profuse atmosphere.
An Enchanted Garden Party Wedding Design
Thanks to the help from Gray Harper Florals, we were able to bring real trees and lush turf within the tent of this wedding reception, creating an oasis of natural beauty. From the bridesmaid dresses to the linens and even the plates, colorful patterns were woven into this wedding design wherever possible. Linden Illustration created invitations adorned with custom garden illustrations that reflected the bride, groom, and even their beloved dog.
Garden Party Wedding Flowers
The floral arrangements by Gray Harper Florals were nothing short of a florist's dream! The bride's bouquet was a masterpiece and an ensemble of spring blooms, including poppies, sweet peas, allium, ranunculus, and spirea. The bridal bouquet was tied with a ribbon embroidered with floral motifs. It was the perfect delicate detail for this design. The bridesmaids carried petite bouquets, each adorned with a wide lilac-colored silk ribbon, adding a touch of elegance.
The ceremony was a dreamscape brought to life with a wooden A-frame arch adorned with pastel blooms and colorful floor-lying florals. As fate would have it, rain threatened to disrupt the ceremony, but in the eleventh hour, the clouds parted, allowing the original plan to unfold. Unfazed by the chance of rain, the bride only had one wish - to marry her husband.
One of the highlights of this garden party wedding was the recessed bar during the cocktail hour. Bursting with vibrant Spring blooms, it became a visual spectacle, setting the tone for the rest of the evening's festivities.
As the sun-kissed cocktail hour led to the evening, guests were ushered into a tent transformed into a magical garden wonderland. Billowing baskets of blooms, Spring trees, and charming bistro tables awaited at the entrance, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the enchantment. Inside, the reception tent guest tables were set with colorful patterns and beautiful floral arrangements filled with texture and pastel hues. Edible florals in the signature cocktails and delicate butterflies graced the garden-inspired wedding cake, adding a final flair to this enchanting garden party wedding reception.
