When the threat of a hurricane emerges on your wedding day our team is there to help you just as we did with Danielle and Phillip’s garden-inspired wedding.
Danielle and Philip had originally planned an intimate wedding in Savannah, GA. With the chance of a hurricane increasing on their wedding day, we relocated their wedding ceremony and reception 6 days before their wedding. We worked with the couple and an incredible vendor team to relocate the wedding day from Savannah, GA to Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell, GA. In the end, the change of location to Rosewell, GA was an easy choice as the bride’s friends and family were nearby.
The couple started their days getting ready with close friends and family at the historic Horseshoe Bend Country Club. Once Danielle was ready, she surprised her father with an emotional first look. Afterward, Danielle met her soon-to-be husband for a romantic first look, out on the lawn.
The wedding ceremony took place on the immaculate grounds of the country club. To accentuate the existing landscaping we went with a simple and elegant wedding ceremony design. We chose to go with large neutral florals and wooden chairs. During their wedding ceremony, Danielle and Philip included a ring warming ceremony. Their rings were passed throughout family members who warmed the rings and left blessings for the couple. It was such a beautiful and sentimental touch to their ceremony.
A Garden Party Reception
Immediately after the wedding ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail reception inside the clubhouse. During the cocktail reception, popsicle cocktails were served with popsicles by Savannah Square Pops.
Meanwhile, inside the clubhouse, our team set up a garden-inspired wedding reception. We wanted to create a cohesive design feel from the beautiful garden ceremony to a soft and romantic garden party indoors. Specifically, the reception included two long wooden tables with wood chairs, coral candles, and florals by our very own Andrea at Gray Harper Florals. We worked with Andrea to design romantic garden-inspired wedding florals with various shades of pink.
A favorite design feature of this wedding was the boxwood wall backdrop. Complete with macrame and blush florals this boxwood backdrop was perfect for this garden-inspired wedding reception.
After all the planning and changes, Danielle and Philip had a beautiful garden-inspired wedding. No matter the challenges that may face you on your wedding day our team is there to help you one hundred percent of the way.
