Real Wedding | A Timeless Savannah Wedding

Morgan and Gary grew up in Savannah so it's only fitting that their dream wedding was in Savannah. The two planned their wedding while living in Atlanta with great help from Morgan's mother. Morgan has a demanding job in the medical industry so her mother played a huge role in planning their Savannah dream wedding.

When including a family member to help plan your wedding, it's important to communicate and express expectations. From early on Morgan's mother was involved in many of the decisions and details during the planning process, while Morgan was involved in the big picture and high-level decisions.

Family is important to Morgan and Gary as evidenced by the intimate details included in their ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place at their family church where they had bagpipers play guests in. Later in the wedding ceremony, their friends performed several songs and hymns. With a wedding party that included 28 of the couple’s closest friends and family members, all eyes were on the front of the church as they witnessed Morgan and Gary say their vows.

Morgan & Gary’s vision for the day was a timeless and classic white wedding, where every detail was intentional. From their wedding ceremony musicians to their wedding day signage and decor, every item was thoughtfully chosen.

A Look At This Savannah Wedding Reception

During the planning process, our team worked closely with Current Catering. The goal was to create a cohesive menu with a smooth dinner service that all guests would enjoy.  An important aspect of the couple's wedding design was that their guests' tables were designed with intention and without any clutter. This was done by including a mixture of long family-style tables with classic rounds, both of which included elegant yet simple decor. Thankfully, the bride’s stepfather owned a fishing company based in Tybee Island which was perfect as he supplied the fish for this family-style dinner.

After a beautiful reception and epic dance party, the newlyweds finished the night with a romantic bubble exit and pedicab departure.
