Real Wedding | Dreamy Pastel-Inspired Crane Cottage Wedding

Surrounded by the serene beauty of Jekyll Island, the enchanting sunken gardens and courtyard of Crane Cottage provided a dreamy backdrop for this Crane Cottage wedding at Jekyll Island Club.

This Georgia wedding venue played host to a wedding that was nothing short of a dreamy coastal affair. The couple had a clear vision right from the beginning, desiring an event where every element spoke with purpose and a seamless theme danced from the very first save the date to the final notes of the reception.

Spring Pastel Wedding Design

C+K fell in love with the timeless allure and old-world charm of Crane Cottage and instantly knew they had found the perfect setting for their special day. The cottage’s coastal backdrop and lush gardens provided a canvas of natural beauty that perfectly complemented their refined and inviting design concept.

When choosing a color palette for this Crane Cottage wedding, we opted for soft pastel tones that complemented the coastal surroundings. We loved how the subtle dusty blue accents seamlessly wove throughout this wedding design, from the bridesmaid dresses to stationery, florals, and even the taper candles. These little touches of ‘something blue’ covered the wedding tradition and complimented the coastal ambiance.

The couple’s dedication to purposeful design was evident in every corner of the celebration. From the champagne glasses adorned with dusty blue ribbons to the hand-painted escort cards bearing a delicate crane motif inspired by the venue itself, every detail spoke volumes about the thought and care that went into crafting this unforgettable day.

Wedding Party Attire

For this southern wedding, the bridesmaids wore mix-matched dresses featuring soft dusty blue and delicate floral patterns that added a whimsical touch to the coastal-inspired design. The bride wore a lace long-sleeved gown by Leann Belter, which was the perfect choice for this spring Crane Cottage wedding. For the ceremony, the bride added a simple floor-length veil, adding a touch of understated elegance to her outfit.

The gentlemen opted for timeless and classic navy blue suites with blue ties that featured a delicate light blue pattern.

C+K’s Crane Cottage wedding was a dreamy and timeless southern affair. When working with this couple, it was evident that every decision made added to their thoughtful design. We loved bringing this pastel-toned design to life in the picturesque setting of Jekyll Island Club.
