Real Wedding | Industrial Georgia State Railroad Museum Wedding

The Design Studio South team worked with our couple Caroline and Nate, to bring their colorful and industrial wedding to life. This family-focused couple was joined by their closest family and friends for their Georgia State Railroad Museum wedding.
The Wedding Day
The morning of your wedding day can include whatever you'd like. From golf with the boys to a morning yoga session, the possibilities are endless. After some morning meditation and energizing stretches with her girls, Caroline was ready to say I do.
Caroline and Nate met before their ceremony at Forsyth Park for their first look. They then hopped on a vintage trolley provided by Old Savannah Tours and were reunited with their wedding party.
Industrial & Colorful Design
For this Georgia State Railroad Museum wedding, we wanted to use the wedding design to accent the industrial atmosphere of the venue with the addition of earthy and refined colors. We love how beautiful the mix of deep sea blue and rhubarb looked together. A beautiful floral watercolor painting was one of our main sources of inspiration for our couple's design. This painting was imitated throughout the design and overall aesthetic. Some decor aspects that the painting influenced include the envelope liners for the invitations and the textured linens during the cocktail hour. One of our favorite features of Caroline and Nate's design was the wedding cake. The four-tiered buttercream wedding cake was truly a work of art as it featured florals from the watercolor painting.
We absolutely loved working with Nate and Caroline on all of their design and planning details for their Georgia State Railroad Museum wedding. If you are looking for someone to help you with the planning details for your southern destination wedding, we'd love to meet with you! Our team has over twelve years of experience in the wedding industry and would love to help you plan your dream southern wedding!
